Gerald Kicanas, Bishop of Tucson, said that the Church finds itself in a new information context, one defined by 24 hour news cycles and new digital media, and that it must embrace this technology in order to spread its message further.
Kerry Robinson, executive director, Tony Blair, and Geoff Boisi, founder of Leadership Roundtable. Mr. Blair delivered the keynote address, where he talked about effective communications in a world that is dominated by instant communication and a 24-hour news cycle.
